About Goldendoodles
A Goldendoodle is a dog crossbreed bred from a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. Whilst primarily bred as companion dogs, Goldendoodles have been successfully trained as therapy dogs, guide dogs, and other forms of assistance dogs.
Fun Facts About Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles are considered a designer breed who are intelligent, very athletic and weighing around 45 – 55 pounds, they are a perfect dog for any size family.
You will find their temperament to be friendly, energetic, trainable & very sociable. We consider them to great family dogs since they are not known as prefect family dogs, being energetic and playful but, quall even -tempered around younger children and babies. While they are great cuddle buddies, Goldendoodles love being outside and perfect dog for going on hikes.
Training
Goldendoodles are very smart dogs which make them easy to train. They respond best to positive reinforcement and have a willingness to learn. You will want to gradually teach your Goldendoodle to spend time alone since they can have separation anxiety.
Most owners are extremely happy with their Goldendoodles since they are known to be non-shedders.

Goldendoodles are the ideal family dog. They are a cross between two of the top five smartest dogs in the world: golden retrievers and poodles. They are highly intelligent, easy to train and great with children. Goldendoodles are friendly, loyal, playful, loving, affectionate, and easy going. Goldendoodles are great for people who are allergic to fur or have allergies.
Expecting F1b puppies
The F1 stands for the “first-generation” hybrid dog. An F1 Goldendoodle is created by breeding a purebred Golden Retriever to a purebred Standard poodle. Their offspring with be a first-generation Goldendoodle. The Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. At their best, they are intelligent, friendly, and affectionate.
The F1B Goldendoodle (or backcross) is produced by crossing an F1 Goldendoodle with a Poodle. These dogs will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies.
Notice that the F1b has a lot more curls and they are tighter curls, more like a Poodle.
This generation is 3/4 Poodle and 1/4 Golden Retriever
